Elementary children have a variety of needs in the area of social/emotional learning. They are learning how to interact with peers, follow rules, solve conflicts, and behave appropriately in a variety of situations. For some children, this presents challenges. Every child has his/her own unique personality but some children may need assistance in sorting out what behaviors are acceptable by their peers and teachers.
