Welcome to Southington Preschool!

We are so happy to welcome you to our Preschool page! Southington Preschool is located inside the Southington campus in Trumbull County. This is the 11th year that the Preschool program has been offered. The Preschool team consists of Mrs. Davisson as the lead teacher and Mrs. Nevling as the paraprofessional. Together we create a kind, loving, patient, and exciting educational environment. We are excited for a year full of fun and learning!

Mission Statement

The mission of Southington Local Schools is to foster a lifelong love of learning in each of our students. Children will be encouraged to learn and grow by providing a foundation of developmentally appropriate child centered activities.

These activities will encourage children's natural curiosity in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.

Preschool Registration

General Program Information

If you are considering Southington Local Schools Preschool for your child, please read the following information. To be eligible for the program, children must be 4 years old on or before August 1st and able to use the restroom independently. Preschool is in session Monday through Thursday and will follow elementary school times. Students who live in the district are permitted to ride the bus to and from school. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month

(please call the school for the most current rate).

The first day of Preschool is on the Tuesday after Labor Day weekend. After this start date, the Preschool classroom will follow the school calendar.
