Meet Mrs. Davisson

I have lived in Southington for 12 years with my husband, Brian, and our 12 year old, very spoiled, fur baby, Bailey. I enjoy running in 10k and half-marathon races (but you WILL NOT see me running in the winter because I'm a freeze baby), listening to music and going to concerts (I love to sing and dance but I am no American Idol contestant....I know my limits, lol), binge watching Netflix ( in the winter) and spending time with my family and friends.

I am a 2006 graduate of the University of Akron with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I began my teaching career at Head Start in Kent and from there taught pre-kindergarten at The Goddard School in Chagrin Falls. This is my second year teaching preschool at Southington but I have almost 13 years of experience. Preschool is such an enjoyable age and I am very excited for all the fun and learning we are going to experience this school year!

Fun Facts!

*Mr. Davisson and I were high school sweethearts and have been together for 21 years and married for 11.

*One of my favorite places to vacation is the beach....I take the term "beach bum" seriously while I'm there.

*My favorite places to shop are online at Amazon and Kohls. I love shopping from my couch and having my purchases arrive on my porch :)

*I LOVE to eat pizza! Pizza in pretty much any way, shape or form is pleasing to me. My second favorite food is Mexican. Whoever came up with Taco Tuesday is a genius!

*I absolutely love teaching Preschool. It is such a fun age where you can have fun, be silly and learn through play. Preschoolers are the best!
