Welcome from the Superintendent

Dear Southington Local Schools Community, It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Superintendent of Southington Local Schools. Having spent the past two years as the Middle School and High School Principal, I have had the opportunity to work alongside our exceptional students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and committed Board of Education. Those experiences have only strengthened my appreciation for this district and the incredible community that surrounds it. As I begin this new role, I am grateful for the trust that has been placed in me and excited to continue serving Southington Local Schools. While my title has changed, my commitment to our students, staff, families, and community remains the same. I am especially pleased to remain in my role as Middle School and High School Principal while also serving as Superintendent. Continuing to work directly with our students and staff each day is something I value deeply, and it allows me to stay closely connected to the heart of our district while helping lead our schools forward. Southington has a proud tradition of putting students first. My commitment is to build upon the strong foundation already in place by promoting open communication, strengthening relationships, and working collaboratively with our staff, families, and community. Together, we will continue to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student is encouraged to grow academically, socially, and personally. I believe that the success of our schools is rooted in strong partnerships. I encourage you to stay involved, attend school events, celebrate the achievements of our students and staff, and share your ideas as we continue to move our district forward.
